Weetos adds an exciting new healthy variant to its portfolio

The Weetabix Food Company is extending its Weetos breakfast cereal brand with the launch of new Weetos Multigrain Stars. The new product is a combination of chocolaty wholegrain hoops and prebiotic stars, and has the credentials that will appeal to mums looking to provide their children with a wholesome start to the day.

The introduction of Weetos Multigrain Stars, which will replace Weetos Honey, has been driven by the trend towards healthier children's breakfast cereals that still deliver great taste. The new healthier product allows Weetos to strengthen its position in the childrenÕs sector as well as attracting new consumers.

Weetos Multigrain Stars is made up of 80% prebiotic stars and 20% Chocolate flavour Weetos. The product is full of wholegrain goodness, low in saturated fat, rich in calcium and contains an added prebiotic, which can help aid digestion.

The packaging features a new vibrant purple and yellow design and lifestyle photography, aimed at giving the product increased on-shelf standout and adding appeal to a younger audience.

Ken Wood, CEO comments; "New Weetos Multigrain Stars represents a vital step towards positioning Weetos as a healthy choice in the children's sector. Now with added health benefits and a completely new packaging design, Weetos Multigrain Stars will appeal to mums and provide a fun and wholesome breakfast cereal that kids will continue to love."
