Highgrove Launch New fine food range at the speciality & fine food fair

Wiltshire based Highgrove Food Distribution launched its newly extended Fine Food range at this year's Speciality & Fine Food Fair at London's Olympia. Having made its name as one of the UK's leading goose fat distributors, Highgrove now brings a new range of own label and branded speciality products to the market.

The Speciality & Fine Food Fair provided the showcase for the new Fine Food series, with an array of new Highgrove products displayed during the exhibition. The focus of the collection was the new Highgrove gourmet stocks and La Soupes range, and the new look Highgrove speciality fats.

Highgrove's new, ready-to-use stocks are slowly and carefully created in order to give maximum flavour. Stocks are gently simmered for days and seasoned to perfection, with chefs overseeing the whole process. The final bouillon can be used as the base for delicious soups and sauces. Beef, Chicken and Fish Stocks are all available.

Meanwhile the new La Soupes range offers tinned soups in four classic flavours, each packed with tasty, wholesome ingredients. The creamy, traditional blends offer a luxury alternative to other products in the soup category, coming in Cream of Mushroom, Lobster Bisque, Oxtail and White Asparagus.

The hugely popular Highgrove Goose Fat is now also joined by Highgrove's own Duck Fat and Beef Dripping, which is sourced direct from Scotland. The Duck Fat comes from the Silver hill family farm in Ireland from a unique breed of duck that is reared specifically for their meat. Both can be used as part of everyday cooking and add a rich depth and flavour to dishes.

Goose Fat made its name as the gourmet's product of choice at Christmas, and has been hailed by Nigella Lawson as the key to the perfect Christmas Dinner. However growing demand for Goose Fat has also ensured its place in the kitchen all year round. Highgrove Beef Dripping and Duck Fat now offer extra choice in the fats category and offer retailers the opportunity to build on the success of goose fat and take advantage of the current trend for traditional, specialist ingredients.

Other own brand items in the range also include a new Highgrove Ham Glaze and Chestnuts, which all feature the new look Highgrove branding and re-designed packaging, adding increase shelf stand out.

Aside from Highgrove's own range of products the Fine Foods portfolio also incorporates a wide range of speciality and premium products, perfect for deli, butcher and independent grocers' shelves. A variety of luxurious sauces, stuffings, pates, sundried tomatoes, clotted cream, dips, mushrooms, syrups and marinades are all included in the range.

Adding interest to meat dishes and a new dimension to vegetables Highgrove offers a choice of marinades and accompaniments. Ravendale BBQ sauces, which come in three flavours, Barbecue, Chinese Sauce and Chilli and Garlic are a great basis for interesting winter dishes with a bit of zing. While the La Sauce range of products, such as Bearnaise and Hollandaise sauces, bring some French finesse to the table.

For retailers looking to add an extra dimension to their gourmet store cupboard supplies the Fine Foods selection also offers Devon Clotted Cream with brandy, Chiltern herbs, Jean Brute pates and Taylerson's syrups. And for Italian stores and operators looking to extend their authentic Mediterranean range, Highgrove provides selected porcini, sun dried tomatoes and antipasti from Italy.

All products in the Fine Food range are available now, in time for Christmas. Please contact Highgrove Food Distribution for more information.
