Reh Kendermann appoint new export director

Reh Kendermann, Germany's most innovative winery and owner of the Black Tower and Kendermanns wine brands, has appointed Roman Barvulsky as the company's new Export Director in charge of all export markets worldwide. Born in Slovakia in 1965, a graduate in biology, Roman Barvulsky joined Reh Kendermann on October 2. He previously spent 14 years in sales and marketing with global corporations, including nine years at Mast-Jägermeister as Regional Director with particular responsibility for 24 countries in middle-eastern and south-eastern Europe. During that time, he was responsible for building the market for the leading international German spirit brand, Jägermeister. Roman Barvulsky joins Reh Kendermann from Neudorff GmbH KG in Emmerthal (Lower Saxony) where he was responsible for 27 markets worldwide with emphasis on the USA, Canada and Benelux, as well as Scandinavia during the last 2 years. He is fluent in nine languages, and will work with Reh Kendermann's team of key account managers and account assistants, for more than 50 countries, worldwide. He is married and has four children. Reh Kendermann's Black Tower, Kendermanns and Weight Watchers wines brands are currently experiencing outstanding brand performances. Latest AC Nielsen MAT 15 July 06 research has demonstrated how these leading brands are continuing to bring growth and value to the German sector. While UK off trade sales have remained comparatively static during this period, total Reh Kendermann brand sales are growing, with an increase of 21.5% versus the total off trade market at +1.18%, MAT AC Nielsen, 15 July 06.
