ICB sponsor "The Championship" on ITV and find a perfect match for St Helier Pear Cider

Buoyant sales show that ICB has already scored a massive hit with St Helier Pear Cider. Now the forward thinking independently owned drinks company has signed a national TV sponsorship deal that looks set to kick its brilliantly performing pour over ice brand further towards the top of the big league.

The sponsorship deal, which covers the whole 2007/08 football season (August 2007 to May 2008) includes highlights of all Championship games and playoffs and Carling Cup highlights and a round up of the League 1 and 2 games, secures nationwide coverage and massive brand awareness. ITV viewing figures confirm that over half of the entire population will see the St Helier sponsorship once, with more than a quarter seeing it four times or more.

Programme coverage in which the St Helier logo will be featured is currently planned for twenty 30-minute regional shows transmitted on Thursday nights at 23:00 to 23:30 across the network in England and Wales, plus thirty-seven 60-minute network broadcasts, transmitted at 10:30 to 11:30 on Sunday mornings.

Joint MD Paul Burton commented: "St Helier has performed well beyond our expectations, and we have already achieved our sales targets in the first half of this year. This major sponsorship deal is a testament to our confidence that the brand will continue to perform brilliantly and become a very significant player in the UK drinks industry in the next 12-24 months."
