Grace expands soft drinks range

Grace Kennedy is further strengthening its soft drinks range with the launch of Grace Ginger Beer in cans. The decision follows the success of the product in 275ml glass bottles and has been taken to offer consumers greater convenience, a lower price and bring the product more directly into line with the mainstream soft drinks market. Made with real root ginger that gives it a distinctive Caribbean 'kick', the 330ml cans of Grace Ginger Beer are being introduced at 35p and come in shrink wraps of 24. Explains Beverages Manager, Nyree Chambers: "Grace Ginger Beer in bottles has a loyal and growing consumer following, but canned drinks form the bulk of the soft drinks market and it is in this sector that we need to compete. The 330ml can, with its eye-catching design and attractive price will enable us to do so."
