Alison Handling Ltd, the UK's largest stockist of new and used plastic boxes, trays, pallets and pallet boxes was established in 1988 by the owners Tony and his late wife Andrea Dearden. The company, named after their daughter Alison, has continued to grow aided by the arrival of Ray Hawley in 2005 who brought with him over 30 years industry experience, previously as National Sales Manager of Paxton and Linpac.
 The business, now being run by Directors Ray and Alison with the help and guidance of Tony, has become one of the leaders in the plastic container industry and has developed a range of new products with strategic partnerships with major manufacturers around the world as well as here in the UK.
When Rehrig Pacific of America, who has been manufacturing reusable plastic containers since 1913, decided to enter the UK market, they approached Alison and created a partnership which has developed as Rehrig Pacific has increased its product portfolio.
Among the products Rehrig Pacific and Alison Handling Ltd now offer is their range of Attached Lidded Containers which fully inter-work with the accepted industry standard containers.
The range of tamper-evident Attached Lidded Containers have been designed to maximise security and service life in manual or automated distribution systems.
Manufactured in tough, durable polypropylene, these Attached Lidded Containers are available in a range of sizes from 22 Litres up to 70 Litres and have several tamper-evident and tamper resistant features, along with multiple identification options that provide an extraordinary level of security and protection for their contents and complete compatibility in any operation.
Alison Handling Ltd hold in stock large quantities of the Attached Lidded Containers in blue for immediate delivery, as well as holding the AHAL64310 54 Litre container in six colours: red, green, blue, black, yellow and orange. This stock of coloured Attached Lidded Containers allows companies to colour code areas of their businesses.
Since introducing their range of Attached Lidded Containers just 14 months ago Alison Handling Ltd, in partnership with Rehrig Pacific, have already won orders from a large number of blue-chip clients which include several major high street retailers and logistic companies as well as a number of large supermarkets.
