Kasp® 180 Series - new, improved and now rekeyable
Kasp®, the UK's leading brand in security, has launched a new rekeyable version of its tried and trusted 180 Series Hardened Steel Padlock, combining the security of a heavy duty padlock with the versatility of a rekeyable cylinder.
 Along with keyed alike, keyed to differ and master keyed options, the new, improved 60mm 180 Series can also be manufactured to operate any number of padlocks with a single existing key, so is guaranteed to offer an option to satisfy every security situation.
As Kasp® manufactures its keyed alike padlocks to demand, exclusivity of the suites is virtually guaranteed, unlike many competitive products, which create common keyed alike suites with many thousands of locks all opening with the same key.
Working to a rapid one to two day turnaround on the manufacture of the 180 Series Padlocks, Kasp® is also able to offer a pinning kit comprising Bottom Pins, Mushroom Pins, Cylinder Retaining Clip and Bitting Gauge for customers wishing to rekey the padlocks in their own workshop.
Designed at every level to provide peace of mind, key features of the padlocks include a 12mm hardened steel shackle offering extra protection against hacksaw and cropping attack, double ball bearing locking mechanism for maximum strength to resist torsion and pull attack, a rekeyable five pin cylinder with anti-pick mushroom pins and also a paracentric keyway to defy manipulation. Recognising that attack is not just manmade, its chrome plated, hardened steel body also defends against natural corrosion.
Although designed to afford a distinct technical advantage over competing products, the premium quality padlock does not demand a premium outlay and is, in fact, extremely keenly priced from £34.99 inc vat for the keyed to differ and rekeyable open shackle versions to £39.99 inc vat for the Keyed Alike open shackle version. Closed shackle padlocks are also available in the range.
