Eliwell TelevisNet monitoring system and wireless communication
Eliwell, one of Europe's leading climate control manufacturers, is exhibiting at this year's Euroshop exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany between the dates of 23-27 February on stand number A54 in hall 17.
 When a 7,000sq m hypermarket was looking for new monitoring system and wireless communications, Eliwell's TelevisNet monitoring system offered the perfect solution within a minimal timeframe.
Covering 27 different control points, the totally cable free monitoring and control system was designed by Linde AS&S, with the support of Eliwell technical support for the fine tuning of the Wireless network.
Ideal for applications where conventional cabled systems would be too expensive or unsuitable, the system can be installed in just five hours, resulting in increased flexibility and control for the site.
One of the main benefits of the system however is the ability to move the plug-in refrigerated cabinets around the promotional areas, when required, such as when there is a showcased product or during an event, as there are no constraints due to wiring.
Moreover, once installed the system can be easily extended with the addition of new devices depending on the needs and requirements of each individual site, if and when required. For facilities managers, the system can also bring huge advantages through the control of other types of retail sales equipments or facilities management applications such as energy meters, chillers, rooftops and other HVAC controls.
The TelevisNet system collects data from the controller and allows remote interaction with the controllers by means of wireless communication enabled by the RadioAdapter modules.
